Rivara is a warm, design-led studio beside the river in Siolim, made for slower Goa days.

Where you'll be
Rivara sits beside the river in Rai, Siolim, one of North Goa's calmer villages. Think leafy village roads, coconut palms, old Goan homes, local markets, bakeries and relaxed neighbourhood cafés.
From here you can head to Morjim, Ashwem and Mandrem for quieter beaches, or Vagator, Anjuna and Assagao for sunsets, cafés and evenings out, then come home to Siolim's slower pace.

Around Siolim
Leafy village roads, the Chapora river, local markets, bakeries, cafés and old Goan houses tucked behind palms. Siolim is best without a checklist.
Go further
Panjim's Latin Quarter, Fontainhas, and the churches of Old Goa. Some of the best of Goa appears once you leave the beach road and follow it a little further.
Getting around
A scooter or car is the easiest way to explore North Goa, and taxis are commonly used for evenings out and airport transfers. Free parking is available on the property, and we're happy to share useful local contacts during your stay.

Getting here
By flight
Manohar International Airport at Mopa (GOX) is the closer airport. Dabolim (GOI) is further south, so allow extra time. Take the prepaid taxi counter or the GoaMiles app.
By bus
Most long-distance buses stop at Mapusa, the nearest major town to Siolim. From there, a taxi or auto-rickshaw brings you to Rivara.
Self drive
From Mumbai or Pune, take the Mumbai–Goa highway (NH66) into North Goa, then head to Siolim. From Bengaluru or Belagavi, drive to Mapusa, then Siolim.

Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM. Rivara is best enjoyed gently, and loud parties are best enjoyed elsewhere.

We love them, but Rivara isn't set up for pets yet.

Please keep the indoors smoke-free. If you smoke, the outdoor area is the better spot.

After about 6 PM, keeping doors and windows closed keeps mosquitoes and small insects outside.

Monsoon showers
They arrive quickly. Please close the balcony door and windows when you step out.

A little sorting helps
Wet and dry waste go in separate bins. A small effort that makes responsible disposal much easier.

Heading out? Please switch off the AC, lights and appliances, and shake off the beach sand before stepping in.
